Yo! – virus season is upon us – really… Right now in a given shift I am dealing with the following;

Bronchiolitis (due to RSV)
Good ole gastroenteritis
hand foot and mouth
Stupid delta variant COVID-19
Heat illness
And more!

All of these maladies can leave patients in a clinical state of dehydration. This VERY BRIEF video reviews how to assess dehydration clinically. May it help you on your next (very busy) shift.
