Michael Mojica, editor of the exceptional PEM Guides recently shared another excellent resource with me. It’s entitled PEM Cars and has been updated for 2019. PEM CARS is a FREE eBook found exclusively on the Apple Books online store that includes comprehensive reviews of 200 articles from the medical literature relevant to the care of the ill or injured child in the acute care setting.
I spent the weekend checking out this awesome reference and it is absolutely worth your time to download if you own an Apple device and see children in an emergency setting. It could spur discussions at the bedside or inspire you to deliver a better journal club experience.
