PEMPix is the annual visual diagnosis competition held at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition during the Section on Emergency Medicine Program. This year’s presentation will be hosted by yours truly and held on Saturday, November 3rd in sunny Orlando, Florida.
Submissions are now being accepted, and you can find all of the details plus an online submission form at PEMPix.com. The deadline for submissions is June 4th.
This can be a simple powerpoint presentation with the images or videos embedded or separate images and case description. Please include the following:
- A brief description of the history
- Pertinent images/videos
- FIVE options for a multiple choice question for the audience to select the correct diagnosis
- A brief conclusion that includes the correct diagnosis, patient follow up and additional educational information
