Today I’ll be highlighting the EZ-IO App. Check out the homepage here. It is a free app for iOS that reviews how to use the IO drill, including text, videos and demos. Its certainly worth the price, and serves as a handy reference especially for just in time training prior to placing an IO. The app reviews the device and the different sites of placement, doing so with graphics and videos.
I found it to be a bit buggy in the earlier iteration, with trouble loading the videos, though that might have been due to the slow wifi connection in the hospital. All in all it is certainly worth the price of zero dollars.
